First Login
After installation, you can log in to DATAZONE Control for the first time and perform the initial configuration.
Default Credentials
On first launch, an administrator account is created automatically:

Important
Change the default password immediately after the first login under Settings > Users.
Login
- Open the DATAZONE Control URL in your browser
- Enter your username and password
- Click Login
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
It is recommended to enable MFA for all user accounts:
- Click on your username (top right)
- Select User Settings
- Click Enable MFA
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy)
- Enter the 6-digit code to confirm
After activation, the MFA code will be required with every login.
First Steps After Login
1. Create a Customer
Before adding hosts, create at least one customer:
- Navigate to Settings (gear icon)
- Select the Customers tab
- Click Add Customer
- Enter a name and save
2. Generate an Onboarding Token
For automatic agent installation, you need a token:
- Go to Settings > General
- Under Onboarding Token, click Generate Token
- Copy the token - it will be needed for the agent installation
3. Add Your First Host
You can add hosts either manually or by installing the agent:
Manual (API-based):
- Navigate to the desired module (e.g., OPNsense)
- Click Add Host
- Enter the connection details
Via Agent (recommended):
- Install the agent on the target host (see Agent Installation)
- The host will appear automatically in the corresponding module
4. Explore the Interface
Familiarize yourself with the Dashboard & Navigation to use all features efficiently.
